The Hot List, Hillary Homzie, 244 pages, April 21, 2011

I just fibished reading 244 pages out of the book The Hot List by Hillary Homzie on April21, 2011.  It's about a girl named Sophie who decides to make a Hot List, a list about who's hot and who's not.  Sophie and her friend Maddie make the List and then decide to write it up on the back of a bathroom stall.  Sophie thinks that this List won't last very long.  But she was wrong.  Now Sophie makes a bet with her enemy, Nia, that she has to get Squid Rodriquez on the List.  And Sophie has to get Maddie back from the popular crown, CEO : Nia Tate.  Can Sophie turn a nottie into a hottie and win Maddie back?
My favorite character in this book is Squid.  I like him because he's funny and weird.  For example, Squid always wears superhero shirts and walks up his locker.
I would recommend this book to girls 10-14.
