I just finished reading the 148 paged book A Long Way from Chicago by Richard Peck on October 13, 2010. It is about two siblings named Joey and Mary Alice who visit their Grandma each summer and their adventures with her.
I think the author wrote this book because he wanted to make kids laugh and have a lot of fun writing.
I would recommend this book to anybody.
