I just finished reading 228 pages out of the book Moving Day by Meg Cabot on April 3, 2011. It's about a girl named Allie who finds out she is moving. Not only does she have to give away her geode collection and now her and her best friend are fighting, but the house is really creepy. And the new neighbor told Allie that there's a zombie hand in the attic! Now Allie is fighting in a war...the war to save her family from moving.
My favorite character in this book was Uncle Jay because he's funny. For example, when Allie told him she started a cupcake fight at school, he said, "Awesome."
I would recommend this book to kids 8-12.
